Started on Friday. Yep, gonna be a lovely weekend...
I finally watched the show Rise the other day, it was so-so. I read another article that said the show is only loosely based and inspired by my teacher, so I'm not watching more lol.
I also watched the 2st 2 episodes of the Roseanne revival, those I liked.
What makes it a lovely weekend? Or did I miss the sarcasm in that statement? 🤔😜
ReplyDeleteI watched the new Roseanne also! I liked them too, thought they were pretty funny! Seemed to pick up seamlessly with the previous seasons, as far as the style. Slightly bummed to hear that both of the girls' husbands had died also, would have liked to have seen them in the revival as well.

DeleteThe actor who played Becky's husband really is dead. David is just busy. Did they actually say David's dead? I thought I read somewhere that they were divorced.
I just read that David will be in 1 episode.
Wait, I guess I'm still confused from the last season when she switched the husbands, lol. You know where David was actually with Becky and Mark was with Darlene, instead of the other way around. I know they definitely confirmed that Becky is a widow, and I thought there was a reference somewhere that Darlene's husband had died also, not simply divorced her, maybe in the second episode? Eh, I'll have to watch them again, I guess. :P
DeleteHubby thinks the reason Johnny Galecki isn't there is because of The Big Bang Theory being on a competing network, contract stuff and whatnot. I guess we'll just have to watch and see!
